Deepika Padukone Moved To Tears On Seeing Contestants Dedicate A Dance Act To Her On A Reality Show-VIDEO

Deepika Padukone has time and again impressed us with her various roles in films over the years, and took on yet another challenging role for her upcoming film Chhapaak. The actress is gearing up for the release o the film in January 2020 and the promotions for Chhapaak is currently on in full swing. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role is based on the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Now, Deepika Padukone was promoting Chhapaak on a dance-based reality show Dance Plus, and she had an emotional moment.
On the reality show, the contestants danced on Deepika’s songs and also dedicated a special performance to her. While a duo danced to Chennai Express song Titli, another danced on Deewani Mastani. Deepika watched all these performances and was in awe of them. When dancers performed to her song Ghoomar from Padmaavat, she was moved to tears. She welled up and stood up from her seat, giving them a standing ovation and after judge Remo D’Souza hugged her, she started crying. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone recently revealed that Chhapaak brought depression back for her. While speaking to Rajeev Masand, she revealed, “I needed to have my counselor on the sets of the movie with me. It came out of nowhere and I was also caught off-guard. I started feeling it coming on and I thought maybe I am just tired or it is the long hours. But then it got really bad and I started feeling claustrophobic. It was very tough for me emotionally. To think about those days and put myself emotionally through that.”
Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey starrer Chhapaak will hit the big screens on January 10, 2020, and will lock horns at the box office with Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
